Clear the Area
Remove any debris (leaves, branches, etc.) from the pool cover and the surrounding pool deck. A leaf blower or broom can be helpful.
Pump off any standing water from the top of the pool cover. A pool cover pump is ideal for this.
Additional time and fees may apply if technicians need to address these issues.
Check Water Level
Check the water level in your pool. If it's below the skimmer opening (about halfway up the tile line), begin filling it with a garden hose.
Making sure the water level is at operating level will ensure your pool gets up and running as soon as possible.
Gather Supplies
Locate your pool equipment and make sure everything is accessible on the day of your opening appointment.
Communicate Information
Make a list of any known issues or concerns you had with the pool before closing it for the winter. Also, be sure to mention anything notable that may have occured over the winter.
This information is especially important if this is your first opening with our company.
Knowing that your pool is being cared for by professionals provides peace of mind and allows you to relax and enjoy your pool without worrying about maintenance issues.
While there is a cost associated with weekly pool service, the long-term benefits of saving time, preventing costly repairs, ensuring a safe and healthy pool, and protecting your investment often make it a worthwhile expense for homeowners.
Ensures Proper Water Chemistry:
Maintaining the correct balance of chemicals (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, etc.) is crucial for a safe and healthy swimming environment.
Professionals have the knowledge and tools to accurately test and adjust these levels, preventing issues like algae growth, cloudy water, and skin or eye irritation.
Improper chemical balance can also lead to corrosion of pool surfaces and equipment.
Prevents Costly Repairs:
Regular weekly service allows professionals to identify potential problems early, such as leaks, equipment malfunctions, or minor wear and tear.
Addressing these issues promptly can prevent them from escalating into more significant and expensive repairs or replacements down the line.
Proper maintenance also extends the lifespan of your pool and its equipment.
Provides Expertise and Reliability:
Professional pool technicians have the experience and expertise to handle various maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.
You can rely on them to have the right tools, chemicals, and knowledge to keep your pool in optimal condition.
Consistent service ensures that maintenance is not neglected.
Maintains a Clean and Healthy Pool:
Weekly cleaning removes debris, prevents algae and bacteria growth, and ensures the water is safe and inviting for swimming.
This is particularly important for families with children and those concerned about hygiene.
